Jane Doe and John Doe Boutique Opening

Hey Ya'll,

I was able to shoot the opening party/event for Jane Doe and John Doe boutique where Project Runway Season 5 designers Korto and Jarell Scott were showing their lines, along with amazing LA designer Ani Lee.

OMG, its December!

So,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with their Family and Friends. I know I had a great vacation to see family, and unfortunately gained some poundage from all that Turkey.

And Update: This past week December 4th thru 7th, I was lucky enough to photograph Snoop Dogg's wife Shante (aka: Boss Lady). The images look great, and it was quite the shoot. On December 6th I was able to photograph comedian Joe Torre, and actress Porscha Coleman for the Humor Mill Magazine. We shot at the beautiful Bar Delux on Cahuenga Blvd. which just recently opened this past Friday evening. Gorgeous environment, and beautiful furniture and location in general.

Look for the images to be published in the January 2009 issue of Humor Mill Magazine.

That's all for now, I look forward to shooting more work this month, and enjoying the Holiday season.

Thanksgiving Week

Hello all,

I just wanted to post a quick comment/posting. I am not going to be posting much this week, but I have a new youtube video, as well as images on my website. Both the Portraits section and Recent Work section have new images.

The video below is from the most recent shoot that I have done. It was a beauty shoot with Shaun G (Cosmetics) an amazing makeup artist whose worked with major names such as Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency and many celebrity clients. I was fortunate enough to work with him on a beauty shoot about a month ago. Please take a look at the video, and let me know what you think. As well as the images.

Lauren Messiah's Press Kit

Hey everyone,

Note: I'm officially no longer living in Downtown Los Angeles. Today Thursday November 20th was my last day at Santee Court, where I had lived for the past year here in LA. I have SOOO many memories living there, and a lot of my best work came out of that studio. I want to thank everyone whose worked with me, and was able to be apart of my life while in Downtown LA. Its a bitter sweet day for, I am so happy to be out of Downtown LA and in West Hollywood, but I will definitely miss the people of Santee Court, and all the good times. Not to mention the amazing studio space with the gorgeous amount of light coming through the huge wall of windows.

Back to the point of this posting; because I haven't been working that much these past few weeks, I wanted to post some images that I shot of Lauren Messiah for her Press Kit. She is an AMAZING fashion blogger, and Fashion Editor of ThisNext.com. She's a great person to work with, and her personality makes it fun to be on set. I've posted the behind the scenes video below along with a few final pics. Hope you like them, and let me know what you think.

Update: 11/10-13/08

So, its been another week, and I've been all over the place. 

 Yesterday (Wed. 11/12/08) I was able to make it to the Supermodels Unlimited Launch Party @ Social Hollywood. It was pretty cool, great band performed "The Last Goodnight" and a great fashion show by Sherry Couture. Photos to follow in upcoming posts. 

 As for now, I've created a video of my shoot with model Greg James, which the images will be published in Unwind Magazine.

The past week: 11/3-9/08

Hello All,

 its been a busy week with Allen Zaki Photography. First of all, we have a new President Elect: Barack Obama! 

 As for the photography side of things, a shoot with Makeup Artist Shaun G. was scheduled for Wednesday the 5th, but due to scheduling issues, it was postponed to a further date. 

 Thursday 6th November, I shot Daniel J. Hunt for my artistic nude series, a series of male nudes shot on black and white polaroid...it is an ongoing project. Great work! Along with two looks (fashion/lifestyle) for his portfolio. 

 Working out the details for next week's schedule. Looking to shoot with Studio Timoteo in the coming weeks, along with a few headshot sittings.

Update: The Weekend of 10/30-11/2/08

Hello Everyone, 

 I just wanted to update you one what's going on...this weekend has been crazy busy and full of work. I've posted three pics of Johnny Chavez that I shot on Wednesday. 

 I'm also working with a few new clients on some upcoming projects. Recently just worked on a ZED card for a young model/Actress.

Hey everyone, 

 today I am shooting a headshot of Stylist/Model Johnny Chavez in Downtown Los Angeles, Ca. 

New issue of Humor Mill Magazine (www.humormillmag.com) is coming out this week with Editorial Shoot of Donnivin Jordan that I shot. Four-Six page spread.
